Game progress and device storage

The games do not require you to register an account with me. They store progress, scores, unlocked content, preferences and other gameplay records in their storage on your device. They do not upload those records to a server or gameplay analytics service operated by me. The fields vary with the game and version.

Local records remain until the game replaces or resets them, or you delete the app. Your device backup may contain a copy. Deleting the app removes its local container, but does not necessarily remove backups, advertising records or Apple's purchase records. I cannot retrieve a local save or manage your device backups for you.

Advertising and consent services

The games use Google AdMob for advertising and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) for regional privacy choices. Ad formats vary by game and version. Google's SDKs may process your IP address and approximate location, device or app identifiers, the advertising identifier when permitted, ad impressions and interactions, product interactions, crash reports, performance information and consent choices.

This processing supports ad delivery, measurement, frequency limits, fraud prevention, diagnostics and, where permitted, personalisation. The app's local gameplay save is separate from this advertising data. Google and any advertising partners participating in an ad request may process information on their own systems; having no game account does not make that processing anonymous.

I am responsible for the services I integrate into the games and for my own handling of personal data. Google and Apple have their own responsibilities for processing they determine. The relevant services and contracts determine their roles; their notices do not replace this policy or your rights against me.

Your advertising choices

Where required, the game presents regional consent choices through UMP. Advertising requests depend on the consent state returned by that service. When an ongoing privacy-options control is required, you can reopen it in the game's settings or shop; it is labelled Ad privacy, Privacy choices or similar. The Support page lists the controls for each game.

On iOS, App Tracking Transparency is a separate permission. You can change it under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Refusing it prevents access to the IDFA for tracking and does not authorise tracking through a substitute identifier. It does not replace the regional advertising consent form.

You can play without agreeing to tracking or personalised ads. Depending on your choices, region and the advertising configuration, you may see less personalised ads, limited ads or no ads. Non-personalised advertising can still involve data processing. Withdrawing consent applies to future processing; it does not make previously lawful processing unlawful.

Purchases, sharing and reminders

Apple processes purchases and restores. StoreKit supplies the game with product and verified entitlement information so it can apply your purchase. I do not receive your payment-card or bank details through the game. Uninstalling does not erase an entitlement held by Apple. Apple's handling of purchase information is described in its Privacy Policy.

Where a game offers Share, it passes the result you choose to the iOS share sheet. You select the destination; that service handles the result under its own terms. I do not receive a copy through that sharing action.

Some games offer local reminders after you grant notification permission. These are scheduled on your device, with no developer-operated push server or push token. You can turn them off in the game's notification settings in iOS.

This website and support

When you visit marmikshah.com, the hosting and network services process connection information such as your IP address, requested page and browser information to deliver and protect the site. This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics scripts. Fonts and visual assets are served by this site.

If you email me, I receive your email address, the content you send and any attachments, which may include device or diagnostic information. Email and hosting providers process information needed to deliver those services. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or other information that is unnecessary to resolve your request.

Support correspondence is used to answer your request, investigate problems and keep records needed for related claims or legal obligations. I retain it only as long as needed for those purposes, considering whether the request is resolved, whether a related issue or claim remains open, and whether the law requires a record. You can ask about or request deletion of correspondence using the contact below.

Purposes and legal bases

Where EU or UK data-protection law applies, processing needed to provide a requested purchase or service is based on performing the relevant contract. I rely on legitimate interests for ordinary support, troubleshooting and website security where those interests are not overridden by your rights, and on legal obligations for records the law requires.

Consent is used for advertising personalisation, device storage or access, and other processing where required by applicable law. Consent is not a condition of playing the game. Apple and Google explain the bases for their own processing in their notices. You do not need to provide support information unless you want assistance; without relevant details I may be unable to resolve a particular request.

Retention, international processing and security

Local saves, support correspondence, consent records, advertising data and purchase records have different retention arrangements. Apple and Google retain records on their systems under their published policies and the purposes described there. Removing an ad from view or deleting the app does not itself request deletion from those services.

Hosting, email, Apple and Google services may process information outside your country. Their notices describe processing locations and applicable transfer arrangements. Where a transfer for which I am responsible requires a safeguard, applicable data-protection law governs that transfer. Contact me for information about recipients, retention or safeguards relevant to your request.

Game saves use the operating system's application storage protections. Support information is handled for the purposes described here. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure; avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.

Your privacy rights

Depending on your location and the processing involved, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, receive a portable copy, restrict processing, withdraw consent, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also have rights to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising. Advertising disclosures may count as sale or sharing under some laws even when no money changes hands.

Use the in-game privacy controls for advertising choices, iOS settings for tracking permission, and the contact below for requests to me. Tell me which game or website interaction your request concerns. I may need proportionate information to locate a record and verify the request; do not send identity documents unless we establish they are necessary. I will respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any lawful exception.

I don't have a copy of your game save, but you can still ask about other information covered by this policy. You can also complain to the data-protection authority responsible for your request. You do not have to contact me first.

Children

An App Store content rating describes content suitability; it does not establish consent to personal-data processing. Additional protections can apply to children and teenagers under local law. If you are a parent or guardian with a concern about a child's information, contact me with the game name and relevant details so I can investigate and address it, including deletion where appropriate.

Changes

The date above identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be explained through an appropriate notice on this site or in the game. Where a new use requires consent, that consent must be obtained separately; continuing to play does not itself supply it.
