Apple handles money
Payments and refunds go through the App Store, under Apple’s terms, not ours.
These are the terms for using VENDALISM (“the app”), published by Marmik Shah (“we”, “us”). They are short because the app is short: a game that runs on your phone, keeps its save on your phone, and sells one optional thing.
Licence
You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not resell it, rent it, or take it apart and distribute the pieces. The app, its artwork, its sounds and its name remain ours.
The Supporter Pack
The app is free, and every machine and the endless after-hours mode are free with it. The Supporter Pack is a one-off, non-consumable purchase that removes the banner ad and unlocks the cabinet colourways. It unlocks no machine, no shortcut and no advantage.
Apple takes the payment, not us, and we never see your payment details. The purchase is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored from the shop on any device you sign in to. Refunds are Apple’s to give, through the App Store, under their terms.
Advertising
Unless you own the Supporter Pack, a banner appears along the bottom edge. It is served by Google AdMob and is the only advertising in the app — nothing full-screen, and nothing you have to watch to continue. What that means for your data is set out in the privacy policy.
Your save
Progress lives in a file on your device. Deleting the app deletes it. There is no account and no server copy, so nothing can be recovered once it is gone.
No warranty
The app is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. It is a game about shaking a vending machine; it is not fit for any particular purpose and makes no promise to be. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using it. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised effective date.
