VENDALISM (“the app”) is a game published by Marmik Shah (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. The app keeps your data on your device. Information leaves it only to serve the banner ad or to process a purchase, as described below.
Information we collect directly
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or contacts. Your progress — which machines have opened, the sound and music switches, the cabinet colourway you picked, and the contents of your stash — is stored only in a small file on your device. The app never sends that file to us or to any server we operate, and it is removed when you delete the app. There is no server copy, so nothing can be recovered once it is gone.
Advertising
The app is free and supported by a single banner ad served through Google AdMob, provided by Google LLC. The banner sits along the bottom edge, outside the playfield. No full-screen ad ever interrupts a machine, there are no rewarded ads, and nothing in the game is locked behind watching one.
To show ads and measure their performance, the Google Mobile Ads SDK and its advertising partners may collect and process your IP address, crash logs, performance data, device identifiers including the advertising identifier when permitted, advertising data, and product or ad interactions. This data may be used for ad delivery, frequency capping, analytics, attribution, and — only where permitted — personalization.
Google acts as an independent third party for this processing. Its handling of advertising data is governed by Google’s own policies, available at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. iOS asks for your permission before the advertising identifier can be used to track you across other companies’ apps and websites. Declining changes nothing except how targeted the banner is — the game plays exactly the same, and you can change your answer under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on iOS.
Purchases
The app offers one optional non-consumable purchase — the Supporter Pack — processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. The purchase is tied to your Apple ID, works across your devices, and can be restored from the shop at any time. It removes the banner and unlocks the cabinet colourways. It unlocks no machine and confers no advantage: every machine and the endless after-hours mode are free.
Diagnostics
The advertising SDK may collect limited crash and performance data to keep ad delivery working reliably. The app itself sends us no analytics, telemetry or crash reports of any kind.
Children
The app is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us and we will address it.
Your choices
You can decline tracking as described above, remove the banner with the one-time Supporter Pack, and remove all locally stored data at any time by deleting the app. Because we hold no data about you on our own systems, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised effective date. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
